Primary chain tight spot
«

Having just installed the overhauled gearbox, I now have the primary chain fitted. I have set it with 1/2” slack at the tight spot but that gives it 19/32” at the slack spot. Is this normal & acceptable, or is a new chain warranted?

3/32nd difference tight to slack? I'd live with that.

Quite honestly, I think I'd be hard pressed to check/set within an 1/8" consistently..........
