If the adjuster can’t pick up the slack there’s only one solution and that’s to shorten the inner cable.
Problem solved.(Hopefully) 2 coils cut off spring. Still slams shut when twistgrip is released so all should be well.
but just undid it to check the shortened spring was still strong enough. It was😄
