Help with selector plate position please

Can someone draw a arrow on where the spring loaded plunger sits in the plate when it is in neutral I should have taken a better look before I took it apart thanks

drawing arrows is out of my knowledge range , it is the little v shape bottom left 2nd bit in near the mark /stain on the plate
