My Rebsa. 1959 A10 frame 59 RE 500 fury engine. I should have used a B31 frame as I had to kink the bottom rail as per the single.

An  interesting Goldstar!  *eek* However begs a lot of questions, what its for? that long swing arm brings to mind a few options but hill climbing is not one of them with that slick but maybe Pikes peak could be possible.

Seems there is some sort of foot peg off the swing arm pivot, But no apparent ignition although you can see a small coil under the seat and a coil wire.  The MagDyno hole is blocked off and no electrolex crank trigger, so unless something on the timing cover outboard, the only other option is an internal crank trigger and sensor  but cant tell if thats the case.

Any idea if there is other pix of the bike showing the other side? Or what its builders intent is?  Wheelie king in front of a coffee shop?   Not my style, but it IS interesting.  I can think of more traditional used for such a beautiful motor.

As Sluggo says, lots of questions. Looks like there's something behind the drive side main bearing - crank trigger perhaps? If so it must be wasted spark. And what clutch is that? Also, in my view that primary belt is a little light for a bike that seems intended for being ridden with urgency. And I don't see any pedal near that nearside footrest, brake or gear lever. The long swingarm got me thinking sprint or hill climb, but if the latter I'd want the bike to sit a bit lower. Top-heavy bikes can't be hussled as easily. Like my Firestorm - goes really well, but try to throw it around and you're wasting precious time fighting it. Great for a circuit or fast general riding, but useless for hill climbs or pottering.

Its a Honda engine, made by them for over 20 years in various capacities and then copied by the Chinese and used in a lot of the bikes they sell nowadays. It has a gear driven balance shaft so is reasonably smooth but the most interesting feature is that the valves are arranged radially in the head, similar to the Rudge design 50 years earlier!

Don't come here often but I see some one has made a gold Star powered left leg removing machine cause that is what will happen when that chain comes off.
Looking at the length of the swing arm & shocks obviously going to be a dirt eater so the chain can slit off, tear your k=leg apart in the middle of nowhere so you can bleed to death.
