Wire size

Looking forward to later this year (maybe) I intend to make a wiring harness for the RGF ( as it morphs back to a Flash), bought some wire a while back, thin wall stuff, it looks a bit light but the bike will be 12 volt so lighter wiring would be ok I think, I have seen other stuff graded differently to what I bought, it's sized in SWG, so would anyone here like to advise me as to what SWG I should use on a 12 volt A10 system then I could buy a test bit and see how it compares to what I have

I use 1mm thinwall cable, which is rated at 16.5 amps, on my 12 volt A10. From Vehicle Wiring Products in Deryshire. No problems experienced.

Thanks JulianS, from your post I have Goggled  a conversion chart , so I need 16 SWG, will check what I have next.

Julian, you say 1mm is that diameter or area. SWG 19 would be closer.
