Hi,
Or should i say hello, Ive just bought a 1949 A7 plunger, after years of ceefer ownership I have finally purchased a proper "gentleman's" motorcycle, only 18 years after seeing a picture of one in a book and thinking "my god, one day all motorcycles will look like this" ah progress is slow. The 60 year old in question is neither concourse nor original and to be honest that's pretty much what I was looking for, I wasn't after an ornament to polish, rather an icon to ride, we will see how realistic a proposition this is : the front brake is a joke, front suspension lethal, gearbox refuses to change at high revs, lights failed on first run and she is a bit erm, cammy, but I am grinning as i write this : it sounds like the end of the world, she has a magnetic attraction for boys young and old, I end up sitting outside the workshop looking at her instead of working, in short I think I'm in luv.
