Adding to the greater rarity, there were two or three other A65s in the parking lot, not being judged. Also, this is the fouth of these shows I've been to and mine is STILL  the only A10 to show up.

It took me a while to realize the colon cleaner is the fuel gauge. Attached a couple more photos of the art piece to show the lever ends.

If you're talking about my side covers, they were chromed in the know-nothing '70s restoration.

Nice pictures and thanks for posting! How doe's it feel to be the only A10 owner? (as far as you know) Special? We really do, I'm sure, take A10s & 7s for granted over here in the UK as there are so many around. Richard I'm curious of your extended rear lamp, why is it like it is? I'm guessing because of local highway regulations maybe? Also your unusual front mudguard leading stay. Later guard/fender and earlier fork legs? 

The custom bobber, nice piece of work, the builder certainly has a sense of humour, love that petrol tap and petrol level gauge.

I believe I have the standard tail light frame bracket and lens, but now I'll have to check again. I do have a chrome dress-up piece that trims the tail light bracket. Maybe that's adding some distance.

As for the front fender, it's the one that was on the bike when I bought it in '73 and during the little mishap in '79 (the one that sent me to hospital). I didn't know it was A50/65 until well into the 2003-6 restoration and after the body work I did to unfold it. The upper tree and fork ears also turned out to be later. The bike from '73 had flat stays. I bought the long tube type stays on eBay and made my own short ones (back side of the legs).

How dumb! I never paid attention to the fact that the chrome trim was scting as a tail light extender. I believe that trim piece was a BSA option (maybe just for the U.S.?) My barn-find A7 also has one. Anyone seen it in the U.K.?

I've certainly not seen these rear lamp extenders, dunno why they were required if six volt lighting was so bad. The lamp would want to be as close to the number as possible. I reckon these that you have are unique which is why I asked if it was some highway regulation for your state in the US, possibly for a light to be at some distance from lettering.... 

I have the same pattern of lamp & Number plate as you, none with the extender though.
