Hi Atoll, I was given a colortune by a now deceased friend and neighbour and have used it with good effect over the last 10 yrs so they are useful even with our UK muck fuel. I've never thought of taking the tank off but it's now going on my list of ways to do job's easier and better . By the way you are not that far away from me ,i'm over in Merseyside .
