A10 Plunger Prop Stand
« on: 28.03. 2018 16:55 »
Hi, can someone tell me the length of the original prop stand for my plunger A10. I have the original lug as part of the frame. Does anyone know if any other models prop stand will fit? or does anyone have a spare one they would sell? Thanks

I'll sort out measurements and pictures of my one a bit later. Before I found a NOS stand I bought a triumph one and shortened it.

Thanks Greybeard, I need to try to find an A10 prop stand first then that would be a good back up. Thanks.

First picture shows the Triumph one I chopped the end off and welded a round pad on the bottom. The pivot is about the correct size. I needed to grind some metal off the stop to allow it to go right forward.

The other pictures are of the NOS one I currently have. Measuring the length; from centre of the pivot to bottom of the pad is 8.75". I've drilled and attached a small bolt with a spacer so I can get my toe onto it to push it down. The correct jobbie is rather more delicate looking than the Triumph one.

I don't know, but if they did I think someone here would have informed us.
