Bit off topic for this forum but worth a try.
Looking for a barrel for a 1938 Empire Star that has not been bored out and relined, failing that an early small fin B33 barrel.
Help appreciated,
Sav.

Hi All,
I have at long last, today, picked up a B33 barrel on std and its piston.
Rather meatier than the flimsy M23 barrel that had been heavily bored out and lined.
See if we can get it to fit next week!

Just an update,
B33 barrel fitted to the Empire Star.
Did 140 miles today on the Emp and it ran beautifully all day, did not miss a beat. Looks like it definitively was the barrel/liner flexing on the M23 causing it to nip up / run hot.
