Sidecar Fittings wanted
« on: 19.11. 2017 23:58 »
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has any fittings that would attach a dusting sidecar to my a10 plunger model that they would want to sell. I have one fitting that came with the chassis which I am assuming is right but not 100% sure. I think I may also be missing a bracket on the chassis.Any help with parts or even just pictures showing close up view of the fixings would be appreciated.

Regards,
              Mike

I've still got the sidecar frame attachments from my Plunger. They may not be what you need. I'll take some photos if you like. Also, of course, they are here and you are there. Do you want me to dig them out?

Thanks Greybeard,
If it isn't too much trouble for you to dig them out and send me some pictures it would be much appreciated.
Also if you want to sell them let me know a price and postage.

Cheers,
             Mike

Sorry Mike, I've been a bit 'out of order', (as we ex telephone engineers say) for a few days. I'll remind myself to go and look in the shed for those sidecar fittings in daylight tomorrow.

I've just been out to the FREEZING cold shed, (dusting of snow here today and the roads are salted so deffo no more BSA riding for a few months!) and dragged out the fittings that came off my A10 when I removed its sidecar in early 1970's. Let me know if you want measurements or more pictures. Please note that the large lump has been welded together. I tried to show that in one of the photos. I feel there should be four attachment points but I can only find three.
