A nice ride out.
« on: 22.05. 2017 10:12 »
So yesterday was the monthly meeting of the Moto Guzzi Club Essex Branch; we visit a different pub in the county each month which I think is a nice idea ? it means you get to see different areas. I pulled out my A10 for the ride and kept to minor roads that I used to use as a cycle training route. There was even grass growing down the middle in places. Excellent. And as ever I was struck by just what a marvelous ride my bike (only an iron head bitza) is. Folks at the club were most taken by the super rocket ?hood ornament? that I have bolted on my front mudguard.

Back home I figured I?d drop the oil and change the filter ? I run a Goffy supplied 2CV set up. The oil still looked pretty clean, and when I couldn?t find a fresh filter to bolt in I figured I?d ad least remove and drain the old one. As it turned out I?d scribed details of the last change ? October 2014. And checking mileage I find I?ve done just 503 miles since then. Must try harder.
