The range of Eddie Dow "Duetto" 2 leading shoe brakes which were available in 1969.
The brakes were also sold through other dealers - I bought one from Ray Fisher in Christchurch in the 1970s.

This is the Duetto 2 for A10 full width hub.
Shoes, fairly crude castings, waiting to be relined.
The 3 extra holes in the air scoop are a mystery.

Just like the brake on my 1960 A10. And it stops well.

Like what one of the RR's has- Same (or similar) as what came on the '68 A65/ L,S,F the later ones were similar but different linkage/cable arrangement & plate design

Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

Similar in appearence to the 1968 factory brake but nothing interchangable.
It is made to fit the A7/A10 8 inch hub and fork.
The slot for the fork leg lug is made higher to ensure safe engagement with the A10 fork leg lug.
Not to be confused with the Triumph version were the slot is much lower and will not properly engage with the A10 fork.
(See photo Triumph type left and BSA type right)
The levers and linkage are light alloy and the linkage rod is threaded right hand one end and left hand the other.
