At a VMCC 1000 bike at Brands Hatch a few years ago the Tannoy ask people to look out for someone with a lyta tank that had been stolen off the bike in the paddock. Stupid, if caught justice would have been swift

given none of the old beesa's have much if any security features, does raise the question of fitting an alarm with a movement sensor, might need its own battery  ;)
But sadly some scumbags out there and removing the whole bike or simply that rare and valuable 3:1 chronometric tacho or a mint fuel tank is a few minutes work for the prepared  *sad2*

Hi All,
I remember some while ago special anti theft tank securing bolts were available for BSA's  *????*
something similar to the security bolts used on car wheels
Can anyone else remember seeing them for sale?

I don't know if it is still the case, but George Prew definately used to sell them.
