Mine is being painted as we speak.
Cost was not a consideration.
I went with single stage paint, its easier to maintain for the owner if you dont have to deal with clear coat.
Add a little hardener to your touch up paint (right before you apply it), and I should be able to cover a scratch and cut it back very carefully with very fine wet/dry and be almost invisible.
If it will be driven, it will get chipped and scratched.
