New machine but old member!
« on: 07.02. 2017 13:22 »
Hello all you Beezer fans.
I have just acquired a new project steed. I'm just trying to work our what I have? I'm pretty sure its a "mix n match" year wise but your sage advice and knowledge would be very useful please.
What engine do I have? I'm told it's a long stroke A7 but I'm not sure the number backs that up and I can't quite work out what the frame is either? I've got these photos to help with identification.
Thanks in anticipation, Paul. More pictures added.

That is a sweet find looks like you have a 1950 longstroke motor in a 1953 frame your lucky it looks mostly complete it takes years to track down all those small little parts as they are quite rare..Please post more pics iff possible.

It's a Skoda Felicia Fun. It turns into a four seat open top!

 Kinda like a Transformer??

Pics can be deceptive; When I saw the oil tank top view, it looks like it wraps around the frame, and I thought it was some kind of factory 'special', like someone was after recently, but the side-view dispels that *whistle*

Looks like a good project, I suggest it's also a longstroke tank and rigid toolbox, but isn't that an original thing anyway- early Spring frame, except you may find that frame is from around about '55/'56- I may be wrong?
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

That is a great start it is quite original except for the carb does the motor turn over? You are not missing much from what I can tell it took me about 2 years to piece mine together and it still is not all original but good enough for me..

I wouldn't worry about the monobloc that's fitted, a better carb all round

Last August on our Rally , a plunger BSa went up in flames  *eek* it had the the leak prone 276 fitted *warn*

You have bigger things to find

Well done on getting the Bike
