A10 carb troubles
« on: 30.01. 2017 23:39 »
I've just bought a 1953 Golden flash plunger. It has a mark 1 concentric carb fitted but it isn't set up correctly. Can anyone help me with regards to the correct set up for an A10 on this carb?

G'day rowanbsa  *welcome*
What size 928, 930, 932 ?
General starting point would be 220 main, 25 pilot jet (1 1/2 turns out pilot screw), 3 1/2 slide, .106 needle jet and position 1(top groove) on the needle.
The concentrics are prone to warping if the bolts are done up too tight causing the slide to stick. Be gentle.

Now get over to Pictures, Stories and Intros and introduce yourself.
Cheers
