A7 S/S gearbox

i have a1959 shooting star i have a problum changing up from 2nd to 3rd the gear lever feels soild but sometimes it is as good as gold changes down good i have run out of ideas

when you go from 2nd to 3rd you can not push the lever down but sometimes it works ok
