Is there some law of physics that says the heat required to power it has to equal the heat it dissipates, or something!

Very neat fan but I think it is actually a Stirling Cycle and not a steam driven fan. I have a quite large reproduction of the British Ky-Ko stiring fan and it operates the same way. Mine has a chimney to raise the heat up out of the air flow for the fan to help keep things cool. Attaching a couple old pictures of my fan just for fun.
