1962 A10 Super Rocket Carb

Hello all

I had come across and bought a Spitfire Carb, which has 389/47 and believe its for the American Super Rocket market.  It only has 1 cable coming out of it for the throttle, instead of 2 cables what i think the 389/46 has for the throttle and the other for a air/choke lever. 

Is that for a lever under the seat that i see in some A10 pictures?
Does the 1962 Super Rocket have a lever under the seat?

Can I swap some components of the 389/46 with the 389/47 to make it have the 2 cables?
What is the differences between the 46 and 47?

The /47 ( or any other numbers there) was Amals code for the contents of the carb , slid, mains, needle etc.
For a large part unless the carb is new in the box they are meaningless ( except to concourse zelot judges) , so forget about it.

You can fit any 389 part into any 389 body so just get the missing bits and fit them if you need them.
The lever on the frame is for the choke as you suspected.

The American models only, as far as I know, had the choke lever under the seat.

Some home market A's had choke lever under seat nose for sure. No idea whcih others do but mine always did (1960 registered '61 model Flash in unfashionable Blue).

my choke lever is on the handle bars for ease ove use

Mine is also on the bars for ease of use.
