I have not seen anything like that before???
Remember the scroll for the sliding plate is a separate piece, its pressed onto the rear parallel section

Thanks Trevor, As I understand it the M20 clutch sleeve fits further in on the shaft, so wouldn't  the one I have be right as it fits much further out?
The parallel part of the sleeve is not what I was referring to, it is the cutaway part in the tapered part of the sleeve, if that makes sense!
Dum question, what dose AFAIR stand for?
Hi John, I'm not using the scrolled bit, I have fitted a seal in in the sliding plate and the seal runs on where the scroll pressed on.

For those dummy's like me, AFAIR = as far as I remember, AFAIK = as far as I know ::hh::
I had to move the engine sprocket out 1/8in to make it all line up, all good now *smile*

Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy
