Wanted A10 frame
« on: 12.10. 2015 09:34 »
Hi,

for my project unfortunately I need a new frame  because the ol one is so bent that its not reparable.
If somebody have a good usable one from 1958 on it would be great, eventually complete with the rear fork.

Thanks, Hans.

Do you need any 'paperwork' with a frame?

Paul.

Thank you both,

recently I found a 54 frame with a few 54 parts and I'm now in the process to choose the best parts from both lots.
At last it will be a combination between a 54 and a 58 A10. ( 58 front end and the rest from a 54 model).

With best wishes for the new year, Hans.

Dear Hans,

regarding the bended Frame. Have you contacted Fa. Treiber in Hamburg, Germany? Maybe, he can fix it.

Hello Johannes,

thanks for your tip. I already contacted Mr.Treiber and he said that before anything is done (welding) at the frame I have to sign a paper that the street permission for use of the motorcycle in gemany is lost in this case, and that he is in no case responsible by law for the things he will do with the frame. This thing and the fact that I don't wanted a welded frame lent me to the decission to sell the frame and look to another one, which I did meanwhile with more or less success.

Hans.
