I think you did!
quite a few parallel threads out there.

Thanks Greybeard, that'll save a lot of faffing about looking for the right width element.

Hello,

I am desperately looking for an air filter rubber connector for my A10 plunger. All I could find on the market were the smaller one which only fits for the A7 plunger models.
Second point: were can I find the correct 1952 A10 golden flash color(s) code and which parts were chrome plated or only silver painted. Many thanks !

Due to the conflict in 1952 there were no chromium parts on bikes, even the rims were painted, The colour of the golden flash was polychromatic beige which I don't think you can get now, the nearest I got to the original colour the Golden Flash was Hyunda Lantra beige which is what my bikes finished in. *beer* *beer*

Which conflict was that then Suez was a bit later or maybe not I was nine at the time
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Yep Korea it was

Back im my some what younger days we bought an air filter for a Hillman Imp.
This was a loose pleted paper element which you cut in thirds with a pair of sizzors.
Imps were fairly common but there might be stocks of them out there
