I just stumbled upon this interesting blog about Permatang Siantar, a city in Indonesia, guess what they are using for public transport:

German wikipedia says they've got about 200 of these running, so no problem there.
They talk about B31s, B33s and M20/21s mainly, but also some 500cc twin models.
