why not use your right leg ?
I have never used my left leg to start my bike seems awkward
roller starters are easy to make if you look at them in pics

I'm the same, but maybe the OP's left leg is too weak to ether kick or stand on?
-
Thanks gents but typo it's my right leg that's is donalded how left got thre is pure senility!
-
As long as its not your middle leg *smiley4*
You might try kicking with your left leg although it seems awkward to me a lot do it, a roller starter will fire the bike at home, what are you going to do if you need gas or it stalls out?
Maybe time to look at an electric starter conversion.

The problem is the first start after at least 2 yrs I'm confident once going starting should become pretty much back to preview 1 or 2nd kick which i can manage k

New phone doing my head in should as prev 1 st kick

If the bike sits a while and wet sumps, first start will be difficult…… you could put lower compression pistons in would make it easier to kick over

Hi All
I live at the top of a hill, it has its advantages in situations like this *smile*

Nice idea John but as where I'm situated is as flat as billiard table not an option *good3*

I live at the top of a hill too, but the disadvantage is that if a rolling start doesn't start the b*gger it's a loooong push back up..
{Actually the last time this happened I called out breakdown recovery; the old ticker wouldn't take that much exertion!}

Hi All,
Luckily, I have a brother living about halfway down the hill. If the bastard bike hasn't fired up by his place I stop there and get him to bring me home to get my van *smile*
There were many times when I was young and lived at that house that I had to push bikes up from the very end *eek*
Maybe I should have chucked those yokes into the tide down there *razz*
