Getting on slowly with my 3rd vee twin build. Found an A series s/a frame - now need to choose front forks.
My last build used a Suzuki 750GT front end (I wanted a spoked wheel with disc brakes). BUT, these are now rocking horse category.
Anyone any ideas of maybe a more modern set-up with the same criteria that might be more available? Of course, I could use a standard s/a A series front end (with its rubbish brake) - but I don't have one and they're hardly more available that the GT750 ones.

i remember a piece in classic bike or mechanics in the 80's where they fitted yamaha xs 500 forks with single disc into a A10 .there's some on ebay without the wheel. there is a spoked wheel without disc, it seams people are making the most out of selling things in little bits.

G'day RD.
I was going to suggest the same as Bergs. An early SR500 Yammie, Pretty much the same as an XT but with a 19" rim and single disc.
Cheers
