Just rejoined the forum after throwing my rattle out of the pram a couple of years ago. I was having all sorts of personal and health issues which left me a bit short-fused so sincere apologies to anybody I offended. I have calmed down a bit even though all the issues haven't gone away!
At the moment I've just made a serious start on restoring what's left of a Rocket Gold Star which was dumped in the River Mersey in 1964 and dredged out in 1980. Most of the engine is knackered, but it's surprising what else is actually restorable. So you can interpret the title to my post either way, is it me or is it the Rocket Goldie, hopefully both?!. Looking forward to hooking up with some old friends again. Andrew

Warm welcome back Andrew!
And hope health and humour hold up.
Having been subjected quite a bit recently, including most of last week, to re-tuning by people in white coats myself, I know about short fuses, stress (and discomfort). My memsahib is overlooking most of my ill-tempered bitchings . . . albeit slowly.
Life's too short, and I think a lot of people who live on here probably did a bit when young shall we say, hence 'consequences' with the passage of time!!

Yay! It's great to see you back. The forum has been floating rudderless in a slough of despond since your flounce *sad2*

This is great news. Welcome back, Andrew. Who better to revive a sunken project?
A message to newbies who have joined during Andrew's sabatical: you will do well to heed advice from this representative of the forum's guru team. (Not an official group, but we know who they/you are.)
