Title: First frost today

I had to scrape a thin layer of ice from the car windscreen this morning. It will not be long before the council gritters are out spreading salt on the roads. I'll try to get a ride out before then.

My weather app says it's currently 3°C

Had a light, white dusting on the summer house roof here this morning also. Pleased to say no gritting either - in recent years our council have taken to laying it down thick on anything +3 or below. Shortage of drivers?

We are getting our first frost tonight. Good for deer hunting though!

I passed some large yellow trucks with flashing lights last night, spraying the road with grit and SALT. Time to put them all to bed until we get a good downpour and then a couple of warm dry days
